FindYourFaceMate.com seems to be focused on one thing when it comes to internet dating, your appearance. According to the site “The visual portion of the brain signals our unconscious and we are innately drawn to people with features like ours” and apparently they have some scientific research to back this up. The site seems to heavily focused on appearance since the rest of the site lack any real substance. You are only allowed to view 25 search results each day and the only way you can communicate with other members is by sending an email. I believe too much that compatibility is based on more than just our first impression of a persons facial features to give this site any recognition for being a legitimate tool to use while trying to find a date online.
In the vast universe of online dating sites, there is certainly more than enough dating scams to avoid if you don’t want to be left paying for services you will never receive. Our pick for the worst of the worst when it comes to online dating scams is JustHookUp.com. The site appears like any other fully functioning dating site, but with their own admission in the site’s “Terms and Conditions” of using what they call “Virtual Cupids” to “enhance the users experience with the site” you’ll be left communicating with nothing more than artificially created member profiles who you have a 0% chance of hooking up with. The site is nothing more than a wolf in sheep’s clothing so needless to say we feel you should avoid JustHookUp.com at all costs.
WhatsYourPrice.com functions differently then most online dating sites, if you’ve explored all other avenues when it comes to internet dating than it might be nice to experience a change of pace. Ultimately though the site is confusing to use since you need to understand how the auctions work also how to bid and the pricing. Also, your profile needs to be verified and approved by the staff at the site, which really puts a damper on the experience since after you sign up you have to wait before you can use the site. While most people are uncomfortable with the idea of being bid on, I would have to agree since using the site makes me feel as if I’m participating in some sort of prostitution.
Congratulations to HornyMatches.com for being the worst new dating site. The site claims to have “Over 7 Million Members Worldwide” but if you read the Terms and Conditions you get some lovely information on how the site is basically a scam.
“We may post fictitious profiles, generate or respond to communications by means of automated programs or scripts that simulate or attempt to simulate your intercommunication with another real human being (though none really exists and any dialog is generated by programming), and we may employ or contract for the paid services of real persons who may interact with you as part of their compensated employment.”
The site is a complete waste of time and with so many great real online dating sites out there there’s no need to be wasting your time communicating with bots or “real women” who are mostly just prostitutes looking for new business.
The dating app equivalent of playing Russian roulette, CrazyBlindDate by OKcupid requires no personal information what so ever. The only thing you need to do is pick a place and a time and the app matches you up with someone close by who is interested and available at the same time. The name says it all because you’re really taking a gamble here since you have no prior information about this person, which seems to me, would end in disappointment more often than not. The app is designed to save time by not having to put in a lot of effort, but your time will eventually be wasted by going out on a bunch of dates that will most likely end up being a waste of time.
